So was my goal of 1,250 contributors to the blogosphere's Darcy Burner effort a little ambitious? Considering that we started at 518, getting another 700+ contributions on a Friday afternoon was probably a bit much.

But we're at 871 962 contributors just three four hours -- or more than 100 per hour. Not too shabby.

We need about 375 300 more contributors to meet the goal. That's not very many of you.

So even if it's $5, join the fun. It feels good. And it gets us closer to having a no-bullshit bona fide progressive in the House that won't roll over on Iraq or FISA.
